piano
Twenty-one keys on a five by five grid: three octaves of a G major scale, from G2 up to F sharp 5. There are no samples behind it - each key opens an oscillator in the browser and closes it when you let go, so notes sustain for exactly as long as you hold them. Several keys can be held at once.
Playing
- Press and hold a key to sound its note. Release to stop it.
- Held keys light up, and their names are listed underneath.
- The four gaps in the grid are spacers, not keys.
- The waveform follows the shared sound setting: sine, triangle, square or sawtooth.
