solids
Four solids under a movable light. A cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, or icosahedron spins on its axis while the camera orbits, zooms, and pans around it, and each face is stepped into flat bands of shade by a light you aim yourself. Every reset rolls a fresh color from its seed, and the mesh draws on the CPU or in a GPU shader.
Playing
- Orbit up, down, left, or right, zoom in and out, and pan the view; ortho flattens the perspective.
- Swap between cube, tetra, octa, and icosa.
- speed spins the solid, 0 to 16 - at 0 it holds still.
- bands steps the shading between 2 and 8 levels; light_yaw and light_pitch aim the light.
- alpha fades the faces to glass; edges, wireframe and axes change what is drawn.
- reset rolls a new color and snaps the camera back.
