Conjecture The carpet-star decay coefficient is not exactly -1/8: it depends on the registration and band-normalization frame, the family frame through L = 400 giving slope -0.1242 and the ideal frame through the same L = 400 giving -0.18 to -0.19 and still drifting; only the (log L)/L decay order survives the frame change.
Conjecture The ghost star's ln L slopes as the generator prints them: -0.1807 and -0.1911 in the ideal frame and -0.1252 and -0.1233 in the lattice frame, over the windows 100 to 200 and 200 to 400 of the layer count; the earlier -0.1242 is printed by no generator and the earlier -0.18 to -0.19 is the ideal frame's two windows; in the cell frame the coefficient is exactly -1/4.
